Eligibility Criteria
Rural Area (as per SECC 2011):
- Households with only one room and kuchcha walls/roof
- No adult member (16-59 years)
- Female-headed households with no adult male
- Households with disabled member(s)
- SC/ST families
- Landless households relying on casual labor
Urban Area:
- Rag pickers, domestic workers, construction workers, street vendors, etc.
Special Additions (2025):
- Senior Citizens 70+ years: Eligible regardless of income status
- Gig Workers: Includes delivery personnel, app-based drivers, etc. (1 crore+ added in 2025 Budget)
- ASHA, Anganwadi, and Mid-day Meal workers
Not Eligible (Exclusion Criteria)
- Government employees
- Those owning motorized vehicles, agricultural machinery, or more than 5 acres of land
- Families with a refrigerator, landline phone, or high-income indicators
- Tax-paying households

Online Application:

- Click on “Am I Eligible”
- Enter mobile number and OTP
- Fill in details like state, district, Aadhaar number
- Submit application and download e-card upon approval
