The Karnataka Free Hostel Scheme 2025 is a government initiative aimed at providing free accommodation, food, and basic facilities to students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Minority communities in Karnataka. The scheme is applicable for students from Class 5 to Post-Graduation who are studying away from their hometown.

- OBC: Below ₹1 lakh/year
- Minimum 75% attendance required.
- Must reside far from their educational institute.
