Bengaluru: In order to address the shortage of teachers in government primary and high schools across the state, the government has issued an order to temporarily appoint 51,000 Guest Teachers.
Details of the Appointment:
- 40,000 Guest Teachers for Primary Schools
- 11,000 Guest Teachers for High Schools

This decision has been taken to ensure the 2025-26 academic year starts on time and to avoid any disruption in students’ education. These guest teachers will be appointed until permanent recruitment is done for vacant teacher posts or until the end of the academic year.
