Free Driving Training – Application Invitation
A free driving training program has been organized for poor and unemployed youth through the collaboration of the Government of Karnataka and various employment service organizations/investor companies (CSR initiatives).

Objective of the Program:
- To provide professional training to unemployed youth for employment
- To help candidates obtain a driving license
- To create employment or self-employment opportunities as vehicle drivers
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate must be able to read and write in Kannada
- Age: Between 18 and 35 years
- Minimum educational qualification: 8th grade pass
- The candidate must not have any criminal record
- Priority will be given to candidates from BPL (Below Poverty Line) families or economically weaker sections
Required Documents for Application:

- Two passport-size photographs
- Educational certificate (minimum 8th grade)
- BPL Card / Caste and Income Certificate
- Driving License (Learner’s License) – either original or in-process
- Bank account details (including IFSC code)
Training Location:
- Government-recognized motor driving training schools
Training Duration:
- 30 to 45 days
Features:
- Completely free training
- In some programs, free food and accommodation are also provided
Additional Benefits:
- Assistance in obtaining a driving license after successful completion
- Job placement assistance programs conducted at select centers
- Training certificate will be provided
