1. What is PM-KISAN Yojana?

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a Central Government scheme launched in December 2018. Its goal is to provide income support of ₹6,000 per year to eligible farmers across India. 5. Eligibility Criteria

8. Documents Required for Registration

  • Aadhaar card
  • Bank passbook with IFSC
  • Land record (RTC, Chitta, 7/12 extract)
  • Mobile number
  • PAN card (optional)
  • Ration card (optional)
  • Recent passport photo

9. Online Registration – Step-by-Step

  1. Go to https://pmkisan.gov.in
  2. Click on “New Farmer Registration”
  3. Enter Aadhaar number and select state.
  4. Fill in name, land details, bank details, etc.
  5. Upload necessary documents.
  6. Submit and note the application number.

10. Offline Registration

You can also register at:

  • Common Service Center (CSC)
  • Local Panchayat office
  • Taluk or Block Agriculture Office

Submit all required documents and fill out the registration form.


11. CSC Center Registration

  • Visit your nearest CSC with Aadhaar and documents.
  • Biometric authentication will be done.
  • Operator will submit your data online.
  • Receive an application receipt.

13. e-KYC – Mandatory

From 2022 onwards, e-KYC is compulsory.

How to do it:

  • Visit https://pmkisan.gov.in
  • Click on e-KYC
  • Enter Aadhaar and verify via OTP
  • If unsuccessful, do it via CSC with biometric

14. Check Beneficiary Status

  1. Visit https://pmkisan.gov.in
  2. Click “Beneficiary Status”
  3. Enter Aadhaar, bank account, or mobile number
  4. See installment status, name, and approval info

15. Check Payment Status

Steps:

  1. Click FTO/Payment Status on the portal
  2. Enter Aadhaar or bank details
  3. View payment status like:
    • Fund release status
    • Date of transfer
    • Transaction number

16. How to Edit or Correct Information

For mistakes in name, Aadhaar, or bank details:

  • Go to “Edit Aadhaar Failure Records” or “Updation of Self Registered Farmer”
  • Enter your Aadhaar
  • Correct the information
  • Submit updated form
