Those who wish to avail the benefit of the scheme for distributing sewing machines to poor families of backward classes can submit their applications online.
Eligibility to Apply:
- Applicants must belong to Category-1, 2A, 3A, or 3B.
- Annual family income should not exceed ₹98,000 for rural families and ₹1,20,000 for urban families.
Age Limit:
- The applicant must be between 18 and 55 years of age.
Eligible Communities:
- Applicable to backward class communities under Category-1, 2A, 3A, and 3B except the following:
- Vishwakarma, Uppara, Ambiga, Savitha, Madivala, Alemari and Semi-Alemari communities,
- Okkaliga, Lingayat, Kadugolla, Maratha, and their sub-communities.

- Applications are invited online through the Seva Sindhu portal.
- While applying, applicants must have an active Aadhaar-linked bank account.
- The applicant’s name (Mr./Mrs./Ms. etc.) must exactly match across Aadhaar, Caste & Income Certificate, and Bank Passbook.
Special Instructions:
- If an applicant or their family has already availed benefits under any scheme of the Corporation, they are not eligible to apply again.
- Applicants who applied in 2023–24 and 2024–25 but did not receive benefits need not reapply.
