What is Udyog Aadhaar / Udyam Registration?
- Udyog Aadhaar was a government registration for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in India, based on self-declaration using Aadhaar.
- As of 1st July 2020, Udyog Aadhaar has been replaced by Udyam Registration.
- The Udyam Registration system is a more simplified and transparent method to register an MSME under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME).
